Custom Guitars and Repair in Billings includes us, and our amazing colleague Ted Kellison. All of our incoming guitars are completely setup before we hang them on the showroom floor. Hansen Music also does a lot of customer setups that include strings, action, tightening, and other adjustments, but we don’t walk on water when it comes to the most challenging of guitar work—the drastic damage and requested repair. From broken headstocks, to shattered tops, lifted bridges, cracks, dents, re-frets, and more, Ted is your guy. He put the head back on a decapitated Martin. He is also a builder with decades of experience there too. He’ll build you a complete custom guitar, or outfit your current one with upgraded pickups, hardware, different neck etc., that he can help you choose for the most complimentary fit between you, your guitar, and how you want it to play and sound.
